Outlook.com

July 31st, 2012 Comments off

Can’t say I’ve used Hotmail in years or even thought about it but I noticed today that Outlook.com replaced it. I guess if I hadn’t been using Gmail for years now, I might think about using it since it looks like they are trying to get everybody used to the whole METRO style! Check it out at Outlook.com

Very interesting.  Adobe is mighty close to Google too it seems since there is a version of Flash for Android phones now and I think Flash comes prepackaged with Chrome.  Maybe something interesting is about to happen.

WSUS on a new network

June 23rd, 2010 1 comment

Windows Server Update Services Home.

How many of you use WSUS?  I have used it for a while and had it working on my network for a long time.  Now we are part of a larger network so I’m starting over with WSUS.  I got it installed on a new server a couple of days ago and just added it to the active directory GPO yesterday.  I had one setting wrong in the GPO and figured it out a minute ago and clients are starting to report in.  I guess I am a geek to love messing with something like WSUS!
