Netflix app out for the Thunderbolt. Works on my Thunderbolt but the sound is off on the first thing I tried to play, maybe not the case on all.

Received the latest Thunderbolt Update Saturday the 9th of July and as of July 12th, no random reboots.  That’s a good thing but what happened to the Gingerbread part?!  I was looking forward to that part as much as the fix.  Now I wonder if the Thunderbolt will ever see the Gingerbread update.

Now that I’m completely used to using Gmail and Google Calendar I wanted a good way to see my Google Tasks on my phone. I read something about Google just opening the API or just opening it to Android developers. Not too sure but the article said there should be more apps out soon to bring your Google tasks to your Android phone. I found one last week that does just fine. It’s called Taskos and it seems to run fine on my Thunderbolt.

What sms app do you use on your android? After getting bored with the built in app I finally tried Handcent. Not too sure why I wanted to use something different except but to maybe make it look different! I could think of some things I wanted to be able to do like have it make a different sound for different people. Handcent seemed fine but I recently installed Go SMS Pro and switched to it because I read you could have a different sound for different people but now I’m reading about ChompSMS and think all three can do that!

Pretty much a pain but will a fix be out soon. At least it’s being worked on. AndroidCentral says so.
