I’ve really wanted to try a non-facotry firmware on my home routers for a few years now but never found the time or always chickened out. I’ve looked into DD-Wrt, OpenWrt, and Tomato. Have you tried any of these and if so, which did you choose and why? I have a Netgear WNDR3700 and tried OpenWrt this weekend. but gave up after wireless problems and reverted back to the factory firmware.

What do you think about Anonymous or what they are doing? I can’t say I agree that it’s right to break into servers and do what you want but I do agree that information should be released. It’s not like a lot of this information doesn’t pertain to us when it’s related to stupid things our government does and with our money.
