Why can’t Apple, or the rest of them, just make a better phone instead of picking patents apart and hiring expensive lawyers? I understand patent infringement being a problem but some of this is just ridiculous. How about making a better phone and letting the competition play out as it may by having the best phone. Now that I’m completely used to using Gmail and Google Calendar I wanted a good way to see my Google Tasks on my phone. I read something about Google just opening the API or just opening it to Android developers. Not too sure but the article said there should be more apps out soon to bring your Google tasks to your Android phone. I found one last week that does just fine. It’s called Taskos and it seems to run fine on my Thunderbolt.
What sms app do you use on your android? After getting bored with the built in app I finally tried Handcent. Not too sure why I wanted to use something different except but to maybe make it look different! I could think of some things I wanted to be able to do like have it make a different sound for different people. Handcent seemed fine but I recently installed Go SMS Pro and switched to it because I read you could have a different sound for different people but now I’m reading about ChompSMS and think all three can do that!
Pretty much a pain but will a fix be out soon. At least it’s being worked on. AndroidCentral says so.
I was really wanting the hotbot feature but I haven’t used it much. I guess I can try it out for another month for free! Verizon sent me a text yesterday saying it was free thru June 15th now.
Should have never updated! After updating to fix no real problems I was having with my Thunderbolt, now I get random reboots that I didn’t have before. It doesn’t look like everybody, see here, but it’s very annoying. Wonder if there is a way to go back to old firmware or will they come out with a quick fix.
If you like playing word games, this is a must on just about every mobile device you have. I have it installed on my iPad, iPod Touch, and now on my HTC Thunderbolt.
