Congress Authorizes Pentagon to Wage Internet War

So does this mean we can do any more than we already do or we can just now be more open about it?! You can’t tell me that we aren’t already doing this kind of stuff. Really, what do you call most of what the CIA and NSA do now?

“Congress affirms that the Department of Defense has the capability, and upon direction by the President may conduct offensive operations in cyberspace;” and “in certain instances, the most effective way to deal with threats and protect US and coalition forces is to undertake offensive military cyber activities, including where the role of the United States Government is not apparent or to be acknowledged.”

Wondershare LiveBoot 2012

I’ve used a few recovery boot CDs lately with some problem machines and had downloaded this one a while ago but never used it. I can’t say it fixed all my problems but I found the interface pretty slick and was even able to plug in a USB drive and notice it after my machine was booted to the CD, not all will do this. I happened to download this when they had a free download period after it first came out. It’s called Wondershare LiveBoot 2012. I also use a few other emergency boot CDs and will try to make a list here eventually but for now take a look at this one.

Security Problems with Pre-Installed Android Apps

Good reason to be able to uninstall the crap installed by AT&T, Verizon and so on. I’ve considered rooting my phone for months but always chicken out since I can’t afford to screw it up! Have you rooted your phone and if so, how did you do it and were there any problems?
