Here is a good example of when an email can be traced back! I get asked all the time about how to track back an email to a person like spam or something similar but it’s usually no way to track back to a certain person and actually do something about it, unless you are as dumb as this guy!

I recently found out that my external drive was running FAT32 instead of NTFS when I tried to backup a virtual machine. Not good for copying large files. You can convert from FAT to NTFS but not the other day around. First off you have to run this command in an elevated command prompt window. Here is how to run commands on an elevated privilege command prompt. More on converting the file system of the drive next.
1. Open the Start Menu.
2. Click on All Programs and Accessories, then right click on Command Prompt and click on Run as administrator.
I have spent a lot of time lately thinking about the right way to backup my data. I have been backing up but probably not in the best ways. I will post how I get all this done where I feel good about it soon. Let me know what you use or how you backup your data locally and remotely.

Short article below related to the out of cycle patch Microsoft made available for the .LNK issue but the article also mentions how the fix isn’t for Windows XP SP2 machines. I wonder how many machines at homes will be open to this for years!
Very interesting. Adobe is mighty close to Google too it seems since there is a version of Flash for Android phones now and I think Flash comes prepackaged with Chrome. Maybe something interesting is about to happen.
